Craig H. Ensley, Chief Executive Officer

  • 30+ years of leadership in semiconductor and systems business with experience in converting technology into high volume production business
  • Expertise across marketing, engineering, and executive management at both startups and public companies
  • Before joining IMT, Craig Ensley was CEO of DisplayLink Corporation, a video networking IC company
  • Previous experience includes Peregrine Semiconductor as President and COO; Cirrus Logic as senior vice president; Crystal Semiconductor as vice president; and, Rockwell International, where he helped start its communications semiconductor business
  • MBA, Stanford University, BS in both applied physics and economics from University of California, San Diego

Peter Altavilla, Chief Financial Officer
  • Co-founder of IMT, Mr. Altavilla has 30+ years in the high tech industry as a senior financial officer, developing cost management systems and tax strategies.
  • Over his career, Mr. Altavilla offers experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial and cash management, SEC reporting, and management of foreign plants and enhancement of financial systems
  • Previously, Mr. Altavilla was the Controller for Applied Magnetics Corporation.
  • BA, University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dr. Chris Gudeman, Chief Technology Officer
  • 30+ years of high technology experience in various disciplines, including MEMS and tribology, and management positions.
  • Dr. Gudeman joined IMT in 2005, as Vice President of Process Development to oversee the development and transition to production of a list of diversified programs such as micro-fluidic, inertial, switching, optical, and infrared MEMS. 
  • Before IMT, Chris was at Kovio, a start-up working to create circuits using printing techniques, such as laser printing and ink jet printing.  Previous experience includes Silicon Light Machines, as the manager of the technology department, Censtor, and IBM.
  • Ph.D., Physical Chemistry, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a post-doctoral position at UC-Berkeley


Mike Shillinger, Founder
  • Co-founder of IMT, Mr. Shillinger has 25+ years of operations management experience, including high-volume wafer manufacturing.
  • Previously, Mr. Shillinger was the VP of Operations at Applied Magnetics Corporation, managing multiple wafer fabs and personnel for volume production of 6" wafers, operating 24 x 7.
  • He has also held the position of VP of Process Engineering and Assembly Technology.
